Absentee Ballot Request Information
The California Voter Foundation encourages voters in the 14 e-voting counties to request and cast paper absentee ballots instead of using paperless touchscreen machines. (For more information, read our press release.) Voters have until close of business on Tuesday, February 24th to request absentee ballots (or longer to request an "emergency absentee" ballot if you will unexpectedly be unable to get to the polls.)
Two counties -- Napa and Solano -- will accept online requests, and twelve counties have absentee ballot request forms or information on their web sites.
