State Government
Californians are represented at the state government level by eight statewide constitutional officers, one Board of Equalization member, one State Senator, and one State Assemblymember. This page links to the web sites of those representatives, and to other resources that will help you understand the role and structure of state government. (If you don't know who represents you in the legislature, there are several ways to look up your political districts and legislators.)
