CA Senate hearing on Online Voter Registration today
December 14, 2007
Hi Folks,
Today the California State Senate will hold an informational hearing on Online Voter Registration, and explore the question of whether California should go forward with it or not.
The hearing begins at 10 a.m. Pacific and will be broadcast on TV on the California Channel, with a live webcast available on their web site, http://www.calchannel.com. It's not clear whether the entire hearing will be broadcast or just part of it.
Please visit my blog for more details, including a list of speakers, and links to the online agenda and background information. The address is http://www.calvoter.org/news/blog/index.html. My testimony for today will be posted there later; my powerpoint presentation on California voter participation from Monday's Assembly hearing in Los Angeles is available for download now.
