The California Online Voter Guide!!
The California Voter Foundation's latest and greatest online voter guide will debut on the Internet this Friday. To celebrate the occasion, CVF is inviting the media and our friends to join us for the launch!
What: California Online Voter Guide 2000 Launch
When: Friday, February 11, 2000, 10:00 a.m.
Where: CVF's headquarters, 2401 L Street, Second Floor, at the corner of 24th and L streets in midtown Sacramento
Details: An online demonstration of the voter guide will begin at 10:30 a.m. Coffee and breakfast treats will be served. Everyone is welcome, RSVPs are appreciated.
About the guide: The California Online Voter Guide is a clearinghouse of election information and web site links produced by CVF for every statewide election since 1994. The 2000 edition of CVF's voter guide will provide nonpartisan information on California propositions, the Presidential election, congressional races, and state legislative races. The guide is designed to make voter education an engaging and enjoyable experience, and aims to meet the needs of busy Californians by providing convenient, 24-hour Internet access to reliable election information.
