RE: Tonight's Lungren/Davis debate
Hi Folks,
This evening, gubernatorial candidates Gray Davis (Democrat) and Dan Lungren (Republican) will meet in Fresno for their second debate of this campaign season.
Tonight's debate will be held from 7 - 8 p.m. at California State University, Fresno, and is being sponsored by KFSN-TV of Fresno, the Fresno Bee, the Western Growers Association, the Fresno City and County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and CSU Fresno.
Three journalists will question the candidates during the hour-long debate, including Rich Rodriguez of KFSN-TV (an ABC affiliate), Phoebe Wall Howard of the Fresno Bee, and Vic Pollard of the Bakersfield Californian.

In addition, many TV stations are planning to air the debate on a tape-delayed basis.
The California Channel is also planning to broadcast the debate on its statewide cable channel, and feature it on its web site at http://www.calchannel.com.
If you missed the first debate between Lungren and Davis, you can find a transcript at the Democracy Network's web site, at http://www.dnet.org, as well as the minor party candidates' responses to the debate questions.
Here's hoping for a lively and spirited exchange tonight!
