Barbara Blong Stands For:
Greens are part of the global movement to ensure human survival.
We are creating new relationships of equality between women and men and
between human beings and nature. Our social and ecological crises have
their roots in the domination of human by human and of nature by human.
Green responsibility and respect will clear the path to nonviolent equality.
In 1994, Greens need to challenge every aspect of the status-quo.
My campaign is waging a strong effort against 184 # Three Strikes and 187
# SOS and we are working for 186 # Single Payer Health Care. We demand
full employment at a living wage here and throughout the world. Now is
the time for all disenfranchised third parties to initiate electoral and
campaign finance reform. We need a change!

Character of campaign:
Barbara Blong is running for the U.S. Senate to bring a Green
message of hope to the voters of California. We are asking for direct
support from progressives around the state to articulate our vision and
build a cooperative, consensus based campaign. We are working with the
campaigns of Danny Moses for Lt. Governor and Margaret Garcia for
Secretary of State to voice Green values and goals.
With the Green Party platform as their base, these candidates
will cooperate to educate, inform, activate and expand our constituency
for Green alternatives to today's crises. This is a direct message to you
to become involved!
Working together we can accomplish great things! Join our
campaign now!
Issues:
There is real degradation in our lives. Equality has been
impossible to achieve in this century. Women and children suffer enormous
abuse today. Civil rights have shrunk. Immigrants are being scapegoated.
Do we no longer have the right to breathe clean air? To drink
clean water? To enjoy sunshine? Do we have the right to shelter and
health? To chemical free food? To meaningful work? These are core issues.
Help us define a program to demand their return. We have ideas. Share
yours with us to expand our plan.
Goals:
Green vision must offer balance. We need to restore our planet,
respect our humanity, care for our spiritual needs and be given the
opportunity for meaningful work, health and quality education.
Our goals include: communicating our Green vision as widely as
possible, generating energy and activism for Green candidates, and
building the grassroots structure of our progressive agenda. Join in the
work!
