Ted Brown, 34, is an independent insurance adjuster. He holds a B.A. in political science from UCLA and is a former Chairman of the Libertarian Party of California. He ran for Insurance Commissioner in 1990 and received 433,000 votes. Brown, his wife Laura and daughter Katie reside in Pasadena.
